Just haven't met you just yet... (Seeking 1 good, single Black woman) I am sending this post as a message to (what I hope will one day be) the future love of my life. For many years, I have wanted to find just one black (African American) woman who is interested in really getting to know and develop a long term relationship with a white man. All of my life, I have been attracted to "women of color" and have longed to be involved in an interracial relationship. Why (you may ask) am seeking to meet a black women? Well, it is my personal preference and something that I really hope to find one day. What I look for in a woman is someone who is genuine, loving, caring, decent, respectful, trustworthy and willing to communicate openly and honestly. I am only concerned with what is in your heart and mind. Your size, shape and looks are not a concern for me. I feel that if a man is only interested in what a woman looks like that he is likely shallow and is probably only interested in just sex. I want and desire and friendship that will lead to something more, something long term, possibly (hopefully) marriage. I want someone to be my companion and, one day when the time is right, my lover, too. Sex (well, I prefer saying "making love") should be between two people who love and care about each other and want to be with each other exclusively. I want to be with a woman who knows how to enjoy life and all that it has to offer. Although, I do enjoy sharing special times together at home, I, also, enjoy getting out for a nice dinner, taking in a good movie, going for a walk around the lake, taking weekend trips together once in a while and so on. Just spending time together with that special someone is all that matters to me. It is not so much about what we do together as it is simply the fact that we ARE together and want to be with each other. I know that I live in the South and understand how some people look down upon interracial relationships or mixed race couples. Let me say that I do not care about what those kind of people think. Those people need to get over themselves and let go of the prejudices of the past and realize when a man and woman come together that it is not about skin color and a person's background. Personally, I think two people of different races coming together is a great opportunity for each to learn about the lives and cultural backgrounds of each other. Furthermore, I would be honored and privileged to be out in public with an African American female by my side. I would want the world to realize that I am not afraid to pursue the kind of relationship I seek with the kind of woman I desire! Now, I should tell you some things about me. I am a 6' 6" tall, divorced man in my mid-40's. I have one , a son, by my ex-wife. I have been divorced for just over 2-1/2 years and have no drama with my ex-wife. People who know me would describe me as an easy going, loving, caring, decent, devoted individual. I am someone you can both trust and depend upon. I am (and only wish to be) a one-woman man. Furthermore, let me say that I have a lot of love and care to give and I just seek and want that one right, special lady to give all that! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, especially my son. I like walking, bowling, billiards, swimming, watching different types of and college football, playing cards and board , taking occasional trips to the beach or mountains, taking it easy at home and so on. I am open to new experiences/interests and would like to know the interests of the woman I would be with. Family and friends are very important to me, especially the relationship I have with my son. Let me say here that I am open to women who may or may not have of their own. I am, also, willing to become a father again, should the opportunity present itself. It would very desirable to me to be part of a , happy relationship (and hopefully marriage on day). Well, with all that said, I will ask: Are you still wishing you will find that special someone? Do you hope that someone is out there, maybe just around the corner, to share your life and make you happy? Think you might be on the verge of finding your 'happily ever after"?
